Post operative sensitivity is typically characrized by pain or discomfort with cold and hot following tooth restoration the main cause is adhesion problem , so following systematic Approach re-treatment grantees success in such cases cases . Adhesions tricks : 1- selective enamel etch using gel type etchant " polymer based" 2- 2 coat of universal bond with agitation to improve adhesive penetration with No curing in between " if you are 2 step self etch adhesive using take your time in priming step " 3- cure your adhesive layer for 20 secs at least intermittently " 5secs 4 cycles " 4-apply very thin layer of high filled flowable composite " injectable composite " or bulkfill flow as resin coat to act as hydrophobic layer and ensure No voids no gabs between adhesive layer and composite. 5- follow successive cuspal build up technique . cusp by cusp technique with Low shrinking composite material Case documented by FlashcapComposite used : SHOFU Beautifill LS " Low shrinkage " & Flow plus X " Injectable composite " & lite art Dark brown stain
